SHANX went to Bharat Startup Summit with a simple rule: understand the room before trying to impress it.
WHY WE WENT
Not to collect cards.
To understand how serious companies grow.
Bharat Startup Summit 2026, held on 22–23 August at BIEC, Bengaluru, brought founders, operators, investors, technology teams and ecosystem participants into the same room.
SHANX attended to learn how strong Indian companies build institutions, scale responsibly and form useful long-term relationships.
Listen carefully. Ask useful questions. Build a few real relationships. Record what could change how SHANX thinks or builds.
The goal was not maximum networking. It was a small number of meaningful conversations, people worth following up with, and insights worth carrying forward.

How companies become stronger than a single founder, and what governance, culture and professional management look like in practice.
Practical AI
Where AI is genuinely useful inside business operations, and where the language is running ahead of the evidence.

How investors think about readiness, governance, valuation and what makes an early company credible.
Operations
How retail, multi-location and distributed businesses use technology to coordinate real work instead of adding another disconnected tool.
Relationships
Why one useful conversation with the right operator can be more valuable than dozens of shallow introductions.
WHAT STAYED WITH US
The summit was useful because
the conversation did not end at the venue.
Some of the most valuable outcomes were relationships with people already working inside B2B SaaS, operations and real business workflows — people SHANX can continue learning from instead of treating them as names in a lead list.
Product ideas become more useful when they are tested against how businesses actually work: where information comes in, who owns the next action, what gets missed and what the owner can see.
As software becomes more capable, governance, security, evidence and human responsibility have to grow with it. That remains a core SHANX principle.
A summit is not the conclusion. The useful part is what happens after: follow up, keep learning, test assumptions and let real conversations influence what deserves to be built.
